You replace the steering head bearings at 15-20k?
You are right, you do over service the crap out of it!

I said repack, read my post again, you just use a wheel bearing packer and hook up the grease gun.

My sportbike I had before I sold it had 35k on the clock. NEVER repacked the bearings. I can see that interval if you live in a very dusty climate but I would (personally) wait for 30k or so. I do 10-15k every year so that would mean removing the tree and repacking the bearings every other year. That seems excessive. JMHO
