FXDX Small Windscreen
Any FXDX owners out there? I have a 2000 and I would like to put a small windscreen on it. I bought the Gladiator screen from National that said it would fit, but the gauges are in the way so it wont fit. Has anyone found a small screen that works?

I have a Slip Streamer Mini Police. Its not the quality of the one you have, but it is extremely adjustable. There are two mounts that clamp to the bars and two rods that can be adjusted a good 5 inches both in or out AND up and down to clear gage pods. Just an option.

Harley has a small sport windshield that goes for about 165.00 bucks. I put it on my bike and it blocks the wind well enough to not wear me out after a days ride. Doesn't do much for rain or bugs but eh who cares. Doesn't look horrible either. you can't see it the greatest but check out my pics on my public profile and you can see it. Only 1 of the pics has it on. Oh and the other downfall is that it does not come with a Quick Detach option.
I have one that I pulled off my 2000 FXDX, you can have it for cheap. It does have a small scratch on it, but barely noticeable and not in the line of vision. I can take pics and post if you are interested

I would beware of HD shields, tend to be over-priced and low quality. Also HD is importing more and more of its accessories..
Memphis Shades is highly recommended, the sports shields line is what you may be interested in. I have one on my 02 FXD and its awesome even after 49k miles. The bullet shade seems pretty cool too.. Excellent detachable brackets, high quality and very reasonably priced... Made in USA too.
