Nice find. I like the built in turn signals. How difficult was it to wire them up? I have mine on the docking system and was looking to move them for throw over bags.

Sorry going off topic here but I like your AC cover, who makes it or did you make it your self. It really goes well with the fins. Thanks for any info

That looks nice, and a good price. I look forward to your review and pics.

Bobgv, it is made by Joker Machine. It is just the cover, originally an insert for the oval cover, but fits the round SE filter perfect. I bought the black sock from HD. Peeled off the goofy white bar and shield.

glassing it into the fender to be flush would require you to paint your fender. there is no way to polish itout wihtout ruining the finish... not sure what he was talking about... it can be done with wax paper to make it removeable but then you need to figure a way to mount it... without redoing your paint... i would sugest you do like i did on my old set up
here is my old set up (the light i used is from Dov v twin... i am told it is discontinued... but i am sure there are others out there... sent one to Snoopy today as he is goign to be getting my stock rear fender i used to have on my bike)
cover the stock hole (i used plastic and rivits) then re drill 4 holes
(was nice to have an extra set of hands/eyes when i did it. Chad helped me out)

i ditched the backplate for the light/plate and just used the frame

first we found "the spot"

then taped for the drilling

holes drilled

powder coated it black and added LED turn sigs into the mother board

all wires wrapped

done

rjheff, It was pretty easy to wire up. The whole thing was under a half an hour. There were no instructions or wiring diagram, but I figured it out very quickly. I did this to get a smaller tail light and to remove my rear signals as I had them attached to the docking kit also. I should be able to post up some pics and a How To tomorrow when I get home from work. I have all of the pin outs for the wires and there is no splicing needed.

Thanks for the info guys! Not sure what I'm gonna do. Bike is apart waiting on my rear wheel to come back from Ride Wright. Once I get it up and running, I'll make a decision on the light.

Yea, your right Joe! Is that a CycleVisions Eliminator light you installed? Was talking to Drew from Dr. V-Twin and he recommended the Cyclevision light. Not sure about the scoots though... $300+....
