Default Tall Boy Seat on my 2011 Dyna

I was a little cramped on my Dyna with the stock seat and pegs. I put an H-D Tall Boy Seat on this afternoon. With the addition of my highway pegs and the seat I have lots of leg room. The detachable shield makes it a little more bearable riding until the weather warms up. I want to add some bags, I'm thinking about nylon ones. The finishing touches will be the addition of one of those cool laydown license plate holders, red lenses on the rear turn signals and a module that allows the turn signals to work as brake lights as well as signals. This is the first new Harley I have purchased since I bought my last new Harley an XLCH, in 1972 when I was 23. I'll run it like that for this season and next year, after I have a few miles on it I'll change over to a different exhaust system to get a little more performance and sound.
Just a side note, H-D engineers really out did themselves with the method one must follow to remove the seat. I wonder what they were thinking when they came up with the way one must remove the grab strap before the seat can be removed. Anyway, Ride Safe......Killer CH

I have been considering a tall boy seat for my FXDWG. Wish they came in leather and were a special order. Now considering a Corbin with the built in heater.

At 6'6" I could probably use one of these. If you ever take any more pics from different angles make sure you post them up here, I'd like to see them.

The best way to fix the grab strap problem is to remove it. It may save you from scratching your rear fender one day too.

Yep, when I put my touring seat on that's the first things that came off not only is it worthless but looks like crap too.

I put the tallboy seat on and it is very comfortable. Only problem is that it has the same thickness as a sundowner. Very thick, giving it's comfort, but not cool looking. When I first took it for a spin, I felt like I was sitting very high on the bike. It does not give an "in the bike" feel. I think I will have to just get the 2 or 3" forward control extensions and get a cool bucket saddle.

I cut back my stock seat on my wideglide and extended my forwards 3". At 6'2" I am stretched out pretty good. I never did like the tall boy seats...Looks kinda like a sofa.

Kinda harsh 'truths' ... LoL

I hope it feels good ... 'cause I'm sorry to say it doesn't look that great to me, either ....

Just my $0.02 ....
