I seem to have a lot of low down torque, my engine pulls easily from 2k+ rpm-60mph so I dont have a problem changing into 6th at -+ 60 mph having said that I am sure it all depends on your tuning and the bike.

 

60 mph minimum and some open road. No sense in going to 6th and 1/2 mile later having to downshift.

 

I only use Hyper "sixth" drive at 80

 

Thats kinda like sayin,

"Why shift into 2nd, when you just have to downshift back to 1st at the next red light'

It always makes sense to shift when you need it.
Unless you got one of them Ridley clutchless machines.

 

At 55 MPH and mine doesn't lug at all.

 

That isn't at all what I am saying. I always shift when I "need it".

 

I've only done about 300 miles so far but found out today riding it to work on the highway I found any under 65 mph seems like it is lugging.

 

65 mph = 6th
