Put some z bars on my bike 2 weeks ago. The bike transitions much easier than it did with mini apes or buckhorns. I like the look, but I am not sure whether I like the look better than with the mini apes. Fellow forum member wired em up for me and did a great job. Thanks go out to Streetbobbomber!
I think they look good! I remember back when i ran zbars, the internal wiring was a major PITA to get past the sharp turns! You might want to try to lean them forward a bit, i think itd look better, but if theyre comfortable like that, then thats what matters.
Thanks guys. I agree bout them being pushed a bit more forward.
At first I did have the pushed up a few more inches but it was a stretch. Went for a 50 mile ride and my arms were killing me. I put em back to where it felt natural the next day and no more pain. Maybe I can push em up an inch and see how that feels.
If it works, don't fix it... If it is comfortable leave them where they are.
They look great, I like that the vertical lines up with your fork tubes, looks like it was made for your bike.
I would try to lower the headlight so it centers up better between the trees.
The bars look Good. I too think they would look better leaned forward a couple of inches BUT if it isn't comfortable then leave 'em be. Nice looking bike!
