Default side plates
I got an 07 street bob and i'm looking to put on a detachable backrest. Are the sissy side plates cross model compatible, i.e. softail plates on a dyna or sporty on a dyna?

Easyist way to find out is Go to the HD parts web site. Look up the part that fits your Bike. Then see what else it fits.
Then type in that part number in the searh box. You can come up with other bikes your part fits.
Have done this many times

plates are NOT interchangeable between Sportsters, Softails and Dynas. Like Nevar said check here:

thx. must have mixed it up with the uprights then, i know they are interchangeable
