yeah... then you have a poor cornering sport bike instead
Sure there is a better cornering sport bike out there. Not trying to be a troll. Just trying to get a point across that if you are pushing a bike that far to that edge is a disaster waiting to happen. Harley's have slightly different lean angles on each side of the bike. Good sport bikes don't. Lets say you get a couple more degrees. Just like words. Trying to judge that is crazy in a real world of doing it unless you are on a race track. Love MOM

When I was a young man in the Army I had section chief who was also into bikes. I went to his house one day and in his garage was a Harley a GSX-R750R and a Honda CR250.
Any time I hear someone talking about getting more lean out of a Harley or touring on a sport bike or making a Sportster into a dual sport I remember Sgt. DeLong.

I just put 13" shocks (Hagon Nitros) on my Fat Bob, coupled with a nicely tucked up D&D Bobcat exhaust it seems to ride and lean better. It's still not a sports bike and never will be.
But the extra 1" on the rear certainly makes a positive difference. Now I need to decide what I want to do with the front end.
I put 1" longer Progressive 440's on the rear and Progressive springs in the front on my FXDL. Scraping problems solved and gained a much smoother ride.
