Default Progressive suspension

I have an 09 Superglide. I was thinking of swapping out my stock shocks for some progressive 11.5 440s...Does anyone recomend the heavy duty ones or should i just go with the regular ones? thanks

I have the 430s Heavy Duty ones.
Before they were blown (oil leaked) they were... ...excellent!
But...: It really depends on your riding style! And of course on the condition of your roads!!
If you ride most of the time with a passenger you need the heavy ones. You see... these shocks actually work better when they are fully loaded. If not you might find them quite stiff! But BETTER than stocks.
If your roads have really short bumps or cracks , you'll feel they are... well again stiff.
If you lower your bike , selecting the standard ones, things will hit on thing (like fender on brake or fender on belt guard)... Going heavy...i don't think you 'll feel you got suspensions at all!
Anyway after mine were blown, i do not think i'll be using Progressives any longer.
Many falks, here, said that they had absolutely NO problem with their quality...
Go figure... ...

I have the 11.5 440s with the regular springs...I'm just shy of 200lbs. and ride solo. IMO, they are a bit firm, but I like 'em.
