The blue tape was booboos. My buddy wrecked the bike and that is where the dealer put markings for things that needed to be replaced. Thanks for the compliments. The batter band is painted even though it still looks stock. We put a silver paint then used a scotch brite pad and put some lines in it. When you see it in person it looks like it is stainless steel. Then on the ridges put a faint touch of black with pearl through the airbrush on it. Lots of detail that the picture doesn't show. In the sun the black has orange pearl and really pops!

Your buddy needs to practice riding on his bike! I'd keep the bike off limits for him now. Seems too many of the bikes I've owned were wrecked by a buddy, too!

I've just never seen tape applied like that, but now I understand.
