damn i bought the hd sidemount license plate bracket to get rid of the taillight.
that did`nt work out theres a big honkin hole underneath that taillight.
They even give you a harley medallion to cover that hole, well guess what ? no way

 

i think your going to side swipe cars with that plate... cut the fender down past the hole.. i did..

 

lol naaa its not past the pegs fxd fly by though from that angle it looks it.besides it folds.I just dont understand what the harley badge is supposed to cover,Screaming Eagle catolog shows a bobbed fender kit with no taillight hole, but it comes with a bunch of stuff not needed.
my turn signals work as brakelights and taillights now.

 

Why does that plate stick out so far? Something looks wrong with that setup.

 

I don`t know its the screaming eagle side mount plate kit, bolts up to the fender struts.

Tell you what i do need though is some longer threaded bushings since i mounted the sissybar and the sidemount plate kit,now the bushings barely engage the fender struts any ideas?

 

you made me go look thegrants82,it would be about 1/2 closer in if you mounted inside the fender like the instructions show but it just does`nt fit real well that way.
