Default 98 dyna conv

New to doing my own wrenching,noticed bike was running low on oil an after adding too full mark,I'm now getting what sound's like a loose tappett in a car noise.any suggestion's please???

Default somebody please help

i really don't want too ride it an mess it up more without having a clue as too what is wrong ,or could be a quick fix

Sounds like a lifter bleeding down. Ride it for a while; the lifter may pump back up and the noise go away. If not, you should probably replace the lifter. If the lifters have more than 35K miles on them, you should replace them all.
