Default leaking fork seal

Anyone having fork seal problems on newer bikes? Dealer replaced right side fork seal twice under warranty and now it is leaking again. Warranty has expired but my dealership said they would take care of it even if HD did not. Told me they would put a new slide tube in this time since bike has gone through 3 sets of seals in under 5000 miles.

Get it done before they change their mind.

Yeah they can't seem to get the fork seals right. Bought a new 2008 FXDL, the forks leaked from day one. They fixed it. Two years later bought a new FXDC, the fork seals leaked from day one. Geez, now I gotta bring it in to get it fixed. Everything else is good except for that. Annoying.

Harly should take care of it since there is a history of repairing the same issue but the dealership said they have a fund set aside for helping in cases like this. Bike goes in next Wednesday. Hope it lasts this time. Yellowstone Harly here in Montana takes care of its customers. I have purchased 2 new bikes from them in the last 5 years.

I wonder if they checked the bushing, because if it's damaged or scored it will keep eating up seals.

I just had the fork seals replaced on my 11 WG about a month ago because they were leaking

Mine leaked from day one. Had my independent mechanic fix it just because of the 250 mile ride to the dealer. Works fine now but it did leak right out of the gate. Other than that the bike runs like a champ.
