Default powdercaoted wheels

I'm wanting to get my wheels done in black. What is a fair price to take them apart, powder, and put them back together. My bike got back into and I will be able to spend a little money from the insurance check. Not much damage but hd parts and labor are not cheap. I was also wanting to get a 21 front.

I took mine apart myself, and it cost me $100 to have both blasted and powdercoated semi-gloss black. Price also included the heads of the bolts... Great job, and locally done...

I was quoted 120 for the hub and wheel just for powder. 150 to lace them.

You can get a completely built set of DNA wheels off Ebay with black hubs and rim for about $700, whatever size combo you want. I would say you would be better off to do that and sell your stock wheels...you will probably come out ahead vs. paying someone to lace and true your stock powdercoated wheels plus you will have a better looking set of wheels in my opinion.

I must be looking in the wrong place. I've seen wheels for touting and softails done but not for mine. Does DNA have a web site?

I called him and sent him a pm and a text and I never heard anything back. He was my first choice. He must be really busy.

That's an option. I don't know if I want to mess with swaping bearings. Unless I read it wrong I thought I would have to get my hub machined for them to work on an 07.

I think its just a bearing swap....someone here might be able to clarify....the wheels HD sells out of the Accessory catalog are 06 and up, just different install kits to make them fit. And the install kits are just bearings and spacers, so I dont see how anything would need to be machined because they are all sealed bearings....but then again...I might be wrong.....
