Maybe they wanted to save money on bushings and separate risers when building it? haha.. I bet it was more of a cost savings move than anything else.

Just sucks I have to spend another $500+ on parts just to 'hope' this helps the vibration issue. If it works, I am cool with spending the money.. if not... it would be a complete waste.

I can tell you it should work, same rake ect, but they are totally different trees. Different pinch bolts also.

yes it will work its the same one i bought. it doesnt match the fxdb lower tree but mine is behind my fairing so it doesnt really matter.

Do you mean the finish doesn't match (chrome vs. polished) or that it's actually got a different shape to it?

yes on the chrome and polished part and the bolt head is not counter sunk like it is on the stock tree. i can try and get pics tomorrow.

Hmm I hope u can get pics-- if it looks a lot different I will have to return it and get something else then.. ?! I dont want it to look like sh*t

Any updates to this thread? If not using the "49mm Fork Top Triple Tree for 2006-2007 Harley FXD Dyna Super Glide (Vtwin OEM replacement Part #24-0924-VT)" for '08 and up FXDB what are members using for a closer match to the lower tree? Part number? Thanks
