Default Fluids!!

I just finished reading the comments in another thread about trans oils, good info in there.

I am at the point where I don't really feel like paying high hourly cost to get my bike serviced. So I will be doing my own services. This is not something new to me and I own the service manual for my bike. My question to all of you is this. What kind(s) of oils are you guys using in the tranny, primary and engine to lube everything up? Also, what are you opinions of the oils you have used and currently use and if you have switched types, why?

Thanks for any info in advance. Live long and ride hard!

This is what I currently run:
Amsoil 20/50 in the motor
Valvoline type F ATF in the primary
Royal Purple 75/90 in the tranny
My clutch grabs great NEVER slips and my transmission shifts perfectly. I am very happy with these fluids.I run my bike hard and I have never had a problem. You're going to get all sorts of varying opinions on this.

I run the screaming eagle syn 20w50 in all three, never had a problem and thats what is recommended. I am not saying I will not try anything else but my bike is still under warranty and would like to keep it that way haha.

I use Redline Heavy Shockproof in the tranny. Redline MTL in the primary.

I have used both Amsoil and Mobil 1 in the engine but I am back to conventional oil. I think I have pennzoil in there now. I switched back because I did not like the amount of valvetrain noise with the sync oils. Plus the Amsoil seemed to burn off and I always needed to add oil. Mobile 1 didn't do that nor does the conventional oil.

This is exactly what I am after! The more opinion I get the better, the more they start to sound the same or agree the more factual they start to become.

Same here but use mostly Mobil 1 20/50 synthetic or anything compatible ... whatever is available ... ***** getting hard to find sometimes.

61K on bike, nobody but me has ever worked on it. That Redline stuff in the Primary and Transmission is the real deal. Plus if you have 3 different colored fluids you will know where the leak is from if it ever happens. No leaks yet.

Red line all the way, shockproof in the tranny.

I switched from the screaming eagle synthetics to red line. I noticed the bike starts easier and shifts smoother.

I read all the threads available when I first signed up and still like to read new ones. Do a search for oils, fluids, primary, trans...then get comfy and read on. Its a tough decision.

This is the redline shockproof that many are talking about for the tranny. The weight is 75/90.
