Default Help!!!!

I swapped out all my cables and ran my wires through my new bars and I keep blowing fuses. First was accessories then my batter fuse.. I have no turn signals on my dash and have checked for pinched wires at the hand controls and everything looks good..any ideas?

A positive wire is grounding out somewhere. The best thing to do is disconnect the wires and then check for continuity to ground.

Did you drill the new bars?
Are the new bars ape hangers?
Did you dis-assemble & re-assemble the plug connectors?
Did you cut & splice the wiring?

Unpluge the connectors and check each pin to ground. Chances are you're going to find which circuit is grounded.

But that won't do much for fixin' the problem.

You'll need to pull the wires to make the repairs any way... so go ahead & dis-assemble the plugs and pull the wires for a visual inspection.
If you don't see the skinned wire then check each circuit to ground & make the repairs as needed.

If it's a skinned wire (from pulling them through drilled holes) just slip a length of shrink wrap over the pinned end to repair the damaged insulation.
Protect all the wires before pulling them back through the bars with some of this: http://www.techflex.com/prod_F6N.asp

Blk/Red is your start switch, you should not have anything on that with the switch off. W/Blk is power to that switch.
Inspect the exposed metal on the bars with the controls off and the controls for any small burn marks. Most likely it is only shorting when the controls are clamped down.

I had this issue and it took me about an hour to figure out that it was the clamp pinching the wire when it was tightened down. Blown fuse when clamp was tight, no blown fuse when clamp was loosened!

Black with red stipe is on my left hand control either horn or headlamp. None of my wires are pinched and I wrote down where they go totally mind numbing!!

Looks like in 2007 they made a change, the B/R on yours is also the clutch switch along with the black wire.
