Default Seat Locks

Does anyone know of a way to lock your seat to prevent it from being stolen?

Thanks

Look at mine, they are HD Skull license plate bolts I cut them shorter, again if they want to steal my seat, vice grips will do.

Just swapping out the stock bolt for a torx bolt should do it I'd think. Its bad enough finding the right size torx bit in the first place so I'd say there was little chance a thief would have one. Could fairly easily alter/bend a bit for it so it'll fit on your key-ring.

I agree with foxster, you could take it a step further and use one those tamper proof torx bolts (with the nipple thing in the middle) if you are that concerned.

What kind of seat do you have on there anyways???

I am not overly concerned, however, I just had friend who had their seat swiped outside of a hardware store last week.

I am currently running a C&C Fastback and I just ordered a Lepera Cherokee Diamond Stitch.

thats a cool looking seat, pretty spendy.

You put a button head tamper proof torx in there and there is no way anyone is taking it. You can probably get one at any good hardware store...just make sure your seat doesn't get stolen while your in there buying the bolt.
