I have a set of V&H big radius pipes which fit a heritage softail. They will fit my FXDL but will obstruct the oil dipstick removal. Is there an alternative filler spout to fit or will I have to remove the pipes to check the oil if I fit these pipes?

 

You will have to loosen the exhaust flange and mounting bracket which will let you loosen the pipe to check the dipstick
