That's a great idea! You would really have something marketable there if you made that to the same outside dimensions as the battery box cover with a HD chrome or black band over the outside so it looked like the orginal battery box cover but had the flip down door for tools. I would buy one if it was chrome.

thank you for all the compliments. My friend runs a fab shop and is always looking for more products to make, so maybe we will do a littel refinement and try and market it.

Looks good. I've been searching for just the right size sissybar bag/tool bag to attempt a soft leather version of the same idea. Kinda like the lock box version though.
