Has anyone ever converted a Dyna to an FL type ride? If you look on the Chubby Wild 1 handlebar site, look at the DWG in the 518 pictures. It has the big tires, fenders etc. Had a real nostalgic Duo Glide FL look to it.
Just wondering. Gotta be different.
The whole thing looks strange, it is not very well porportioned. If you want a Fatty, just buy one, but that's just my free opinion. I think some FL-style mods on a Dyna look pretty good but a full fledged makeover, just not to my taste. My Superglide will be getting a Road King rear fender and light put on it this winter, but it'll still be no mistaking it for anything but a Superglide when I'm done. I like the look of the FXD and that's why I bought it.
I don't think it looks squished. It shouldn't look anymore squished than having an FL front end on a softail. A lowrider and fatboy (both with 32 degree rakes) only vary in wheelbase by less than 2 mm.
i can't understand why hd doesn't have a dyna with the FL front end. I love the looks of those old bikes. It would be nice to be able to get the big front end without having to get a sloptail or bagger.
I've got a picture of a lowrider with a fatboy frontend somewhere I'll try to find it.
