Default Raw metal Dyna
I have an intention to buy used tank and fenders for my modification project, and get rid of paint and just to do semi-gloss varnish on metal and leave it plain showing raw outlook of handcrafted parts.

Before doing that, just would like to see, if anybody has done it before me, has anyone?

Yeah man there's a member here who has bare tins. It's on a FXD. I can't remember who it is but the bike it pretty nice. Looks like something from Nash Motorcycles.

That would be differant, I have never seen anything like it. Are you going to polish the metal first or leave the swirls in the finish?

Jesse James has done it. Looked cool on a custom chopper, but I don't know about a Dyna.

Harley Davidson and the Marlboro man. Harleys bike is raw metal... Cool look for sure. Buddy of mine stripped his sporty to raw metal used a round grinding disc to put spirals in the metal, taped off some flames and painted it metallic black, turned out pretty cool

Attended many a car and bike show this past summer, the raw look is awesome. Personally I liked the swirl left from the grinders.

factory does this on a few bikes
can also order on a tins exchange for what i consider to be big bux
something should do more than looks for that kind of scratch
1900 plus tax and shipping and labor, wonder how much it costs to fix the inevitable scratch when installing?
