Ya never know what ya got when getting a used bike....
I bought my fxdc08 used a couple years ago....
I bought some Ricor Intiminators a couple months ago while they where on sale....
Just got around to installing them last Monday....Got alittle surpise when after I drained the oil and started to remove the supposedly stock spring....
instead of 1 spring there was 3 springs and 2 milled spacers between the springs....with a white spacer at the top... So it turns out, I have the Works progressive spring kit, Now with the Ricor Intiminators I should have one sweet front end.... Now Im wondering about cams etc, people tell me I got to have cams, my bike runs really well....So who knows. Used bike = never know untill ya tear into it....
Interested to see how they work - Brian told me they work best with the stock springs so that is what I went with even though I had a set of Progressive springs.
