My buddy had a simular stalling problem. He was told by a reputible HD mechanic to reset the entire computer system by simply disconecting the negative battery cable and turning the key on full to the start position three times. It cuases the system to relaern the mechanical and electrical perimeters of the bike. Try it, it might work for you.

I've never heard of this before, can anyone confirm before I try?

I should also point out that the bike idles really slow before it stalls, I can even tell by the sound of the motor when it will stall or not.

I have an 08 FXDB that had the same exact issue, but I had a power commander...reflased the ecm with the updated stock map, never had the problem again...see if the dealer would do it at the next service, which they should be doing anyway

I've got the same problem on my brand new 2012 Street Bob. When warm it sometimes stalls coming up to lights. Could be a problem with the stage 1 map?

If you are frequently cleaning the IAC, I'm thinking on a different level. There air cleaner box traps oil vapors and unburnt fuel vapors. Are you using a quality fuel and oil and keeping the oil at the recommended levels?

Is there any other running condition issues?

I'm leaning towards a leaky intake. An easy test is while running use a water bottle and spray a mist in and around the intake behind the carb & between the cylinder. If it sucks in water it'll falter and stall.

Hi,
Had the same problem when I had a Superglide, tried everything you have and some, then I came across this tech bulletin on the net and the local HD shop flashed the ECU and set up the TPS voltage. Fixed 100%.
Have a look, it may be this.

I have similar problem from time to time, it stalls at light occasionally, start it back up right away every single time. The idle seems to drop so low for no reason, I have cleaned the IAC and throttle body, no help. I am still struggling, I switch off and on the ignition before I stop at a light, it works for now till I fix the problem. It is quite annoying, I could be riding all day no stalling or stall every light.
