Default Bobbing fender??

Alright so I think I have decided I want to bob my fender instead of streching it. I am wanting to keep about 10" back from my stock seat because that is how long my passanger stick on seat is.

I am wanting something custom looking. I personally dont like the fenders that are just cut straight across. I am hoping to do most of it myself. I have a little bit of welding skills and have friends that are much better.

Looking for ideas or someone that has already done something similar.

Here are a couple I really like.

one of the fender doesnt have strutts at all. Could a person add support on the inside that would hold a passanger safely? I am also wanting to use my stock fender.

Mixtacy,
What type of seat were you using to go 2up with the voodoo fender? And how did you utilize shims for 2up riding?
I really love that voodoo fender and would love to put one on my bike but I don't want to lose the option of riding 2up once in a while.
