Help finding a part
I just bought my '02 Low Rider and the left highway peg is missing the rubber heel insert. I do not know who makes the peg. Can anyone identify so I can try to order the rubber insert?
I think I found them: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/530-349
Anyone know where I can order just the rubber insert?

Try this link, you'll find another link on the page that says view replacement parts, click that to open and order a replacement stirrup. Couldn't find replacement inserts for stirrups.

Can anyone tell me the socket size for the rear axle on a 2002 FXDL? I've found a chart in this forum but it doesn't include 2002. I don't have any sockets that are close so I've got to go buy one along with a torque wrench. Also, for future work on the bike, should I get a 1/4 inch drive torque wrench or a 3/4 inch drive torque wrench?
You will need torque wrenches but not a 3/4" drive. All the 3/4" I've ever used, the minimum reading is 100ft lbs. A 1/2" drive is the biggest thing you will need for a bike.
As far as the axle nut size, if you have a divider, measure it then use a tape measure to figure it out. If no divider, you can cut a piece of cardboard, then measure that. You can also go to a cheap tool place(harbor freight, warehouse tools, etc.) and buy a micrometer for less than 20 bucks.

P/n for this rear axle nut is 7987. You'll need a 24mm 6-point or a 15/16 hex socket.
