Default Electrical Problems Please HELP

I have a 2010 WG. Haven't ridden much in the past two months as it's been raining in Houston, and my "battery went dead" in late December so I decided to hold off buying a new one until the weather cleared. I keep her in a glorified wood shed that gets fairly wet from the floor up, no leaks from above, just seepage/flooding from below.
So, it turns out now, that I blew the lights and battery fuses and the battery is ok. I replaced them, everything was working fine, and this morning on the way home from work (re-maiden voyage) I noticed my speedo and odometer weren't lit up. I shut the bike off (on a downhill in case it wouldn't elec start), cranked 'er again and the gauge came back to life. Then I notice none of the lights are working. (I realized shortly before that, I do not have my insurance or current registration on hand ) I haven't checked the fuses again, but I'm sure one is blown.
So, someone, save me a 400$ trip to the Stealership and help me out... Does anyone have a valid reason what could be the problem? I've looked around the forum and couldn't find anything like this...

I'd guess that you have already figured out your issue... damp. It sneaks in everywhere, particularly in the fuses area and the connectors under the seat.

Take out the fuses and give the area a good WD40ing. Do the same with all the big connectors; this might mean removing the tank. Don't forget the coil, leads and plugs too.

I have taken to using dielectric grease on any connection I find that might be inclined to get any moisture on/in it.

do not use WD on the conectors! use a electrical cleaner, leaves zero residue, WD will dry out the plastic and make it very brittle

I've heard that said before but I've been putting WD40 on electrical connectors for decades and have never seen that.

Great advice. I use nothing but electrical cleaner for electrics. You may have to use some emery paper to get rid of any corrosion.
A little dielectric grease on the contacts helps to keep moisture out. Go over all the fuses and relays.

Great, I'll try this asap. Thanks for the quick, non-smart-assed responses, guys.
It's hard to keep that moisture out in Houston. I kinda figured that is the problem.
