Default Lowered FXDC

I installed a pair of 11" Progressive 412 shocks on my 09 Super Glide Custom last night. Haven't had a chance to ride it yet, but here's a couple photos of the results. I haven't decided on if I'm going to do the front yet.

I'm anticipating a rougher ride, but I'm not too worried about it.
It will still ride smoother than my other bike.

Yeah, the ride may suffer a bit but the bike has a very nice stance.

I've got the 11" progressives on my bike too. Yea the ride isn't as good as stock but my *** isn't candy enough yet to melt in your mouth not in your hands when I ride it so I'm leaving them on like they have been for the last few years. Still rides a hell of a lot better than the Sportster I used to have.

Looks good with the tire tucked into the fender a bit more. I like the stock length front end, gives it a little chopper flavor.

It looks OK. I have lowered my share of bikes.

I just did the opposite and put 13 1/2 Pros on my Lowrider.

With the bags on I see no difference, but the ride is soo much better.

I stopped going for the look a few years ago, now it is just about riding the thing.

Over the years I pretty much did it all, 30 customized HD's. Today I ride a basic stock Dyna, even have the stock pipes.

That is what's cool about a bike, you can make it whatever you want. Hey if you don't like the ride , no big deal. In 1/2 an hour you can change it back.

Have fun. Looks good.
