Default Question/Brainstorming Help....

I have an 02 Wide Glide with Custom rear roller fender installed a little lower than the stock as i wanted that look. This worked out with my stock 2up seat but now that the Better half has her own bike i purchased a lepera bare bones solo seat. I didnt even think about the fender lining up with the new seat, so as you can see in the pictures attached i end up with a gap at the tail end of the seat. It's about and 1 3/4" gap.

I was thinking of making my own mounting bracket and maybe placing a soft leather tool pouch there to somewhat hide the gap.

So on to my question/brainstorming help.........without getting a new fender or seat how would you solve this problem?

I think you can bend the barebones seat pan down to match the fender. I think form member MuddyApe did this with his.

It was a mixture of that and a crappy paint job. I have some mods planned for the winter and once those are on, it will be painted correctly.

How much of a gap remains when you're sitting on it?

The gap remains the same, the majority of the seat rests on the frame.
