Plexiglass is an acrylic. Lexan is a polycarbonate.

Default reflections on windshield

I have the same issue with reflections on the windshield at night from the light on the speedo. Some dude in another thread stated that raising the tank resolves that problem. I haven't tried it.

I also have glare in the daytime on the windshield from the reflection from the risers. I covered the riser plate edge with black plastic tape which helped quite a bit. I am thinking of replacing that chrome piece with a black version to cut down that glare.

Your w/s might be too tall for you; it should be a couple inches below line of sight.
That was my problem. I had the same issue with the glare. I cut about 3 inches off my windshield and now it's perfect.

sorry to raise the dead. searching through the forum and this was the closest to my issue I could find.

I replaced my speedo last year with an aftermarket unit. works great and love the brighter lighting with it... but now I'm getting a glare on my removable windscreen at night. can see over it just fine but it's blocking my view of the road. it was a serious problem riding at night through a rain storm.

I was looking for feedback on any of those speedo rings I've seen on J&P Cycles site or any other similar fixes anyone may have done and loved.

A wrenching bro of mine suggested using tint... but then I'll loose the nice bright speedo and my eyesight ain't as good as it used to be.

I would simulate a visor trim ring out of cardboard and tape it on to see if it was enough to help.
