Gradient Windshield
I just started a new thread in the Sponsoring Vendors section at Long Ride Shields About the possibility of producing a gradient windshield.
What is a Gradient Windshield. A windshield that start dark tinted at the bottom and smoothly transitions to clear at the top.
What would be the advantages The advantages would best be seen when riding at night or in the rain or any time the light is limited. Have you noticed that with a tinted windshield that you can hardly see through the windshield when the light is dim. Or how about when you get caught in that rain storm and you try to duck down behind the windshield but can hardly see through it because it's tinted.
A Gradient windshield would be clear at the top so you can see whats in the road below the lip of the windshield in the dark. But you woulds still have the good looks of a tinted windshield.
There is a company out there that makes a gradient windshield and they have been around for a long time. But, they don't have the re-curve or ultra windshields that LRS has.
If you think this is a good idea and are possibly interested in buying such a windshield please go to the Sponsored Vender section and to Long Ride Shields and post in the topic Gradient Windshield that this would be something your interested in.
With enough input maybe we can influence LRS that this would be a good product to come out with and that there is a market for such an item.
