Love my 08 FXDC, but I love the pseudo-vintage look of the switchback with its touring capabilitles. I'm not a fan of wasting my $$ trying to turn my bike into what it is not...but can I justify selling my bike and shelling out 7k for a switchback??

I would think you could do a lot to your bike for 7k........such as bags, a windshield, wheels, new headlight, exhaust..........





But if you just want a new bike, do it.

I dig them, the wheels look cool.

 

They are great! I have been happy with mine!

 

just keep tossing and turning all night in bed for a couple of months until you can feel justified

 

Quite happy with mine. Comfortable solo or 2-up. The cat does get HOT but that would be my biggest complaint. I could easily solo cross country on this bike, no problem. Long distance 2-up would take some creative packing as the bags are smaller. Kurt

 

Mine is everything I expected and more.
2500 miles later and my attraction is increasing by the mile.

 

Life is to short. Just sign the papers. Get out and enjoy the ride.

 

Exactly. For the most part you only live once.

 

I can't say it would compare because this is my first H-D bike. But, I've had my Switchback about a week now and I love it.
