I want a Switchback!!
You can read reviews all day long but until you ride one you’ll never know.

The best thing to do is read a bunch of reviews from guys that don't have one, and then take their word for it. Why bother riding one for yourself when you have the internet to tell you what to do?
They are sweet bikes but you can make yours into one for less but it's your choice.
Sure you do, it's in your signature picture!

It is a nice ride and looks great stripped down, the only thing I don't like is that they did not design the bags to cover the shocks, not even partially. I mean WTF, they start from scratch and they design it like a cheap add on.
You're really living on the edge.
You can easily rationalize it to this bunch.
And I like the Switchback except for the forward controls messing up the handling.
It's EZ and fun to blow a bunch of money indiscriminately (think Las Vegas or the Mustang Ranch). But if you need a bike equipped like the Switchback, the EZ way is to go into debt or spend lots of cash.
Or you can outfit your own bike for a fraction of the cost, if you are prepared to DIY. My FXDC is getting a pair of RK police take-off hard-bags and an early Tour-Pak solo setup.
