$2K+ Handlebars???

$2K+ Handlebars???
I know they have controls and are pre-wired, but even so, can someone explain to me how these bars can cost $2K+?

No idea why they would be that high, then again I don't even understand why some handlebars that aren't wired are over $100.

They are not simply pre-wired, the throttle and clutch are also internal, cleanest look you can get and still have everything in your bars.
Hell, I spent 3 days building my bars, if I charged myself by the hour they would have cost me a helluva lot more than 2k....

It has to have something to do with the internally wired cables. It's not that hard to internally wire the bars, but the internal cables are cool. I just did my 18 inch apes last week. Two grand is a lot for bars. That said, if you go to a Harley dealer and price a set of bars (16 inch apes), cables, and chrome controls/switch covers/switches/levers, you'll be at roughly $1,100 before tax and the labor of wiring everything up. I just don't see spending over $2k for bars, cause you can get a nice set and pipes for that much....which I did.
