What got me was the DOT in your message. I was thinking D.O.T. I had forgotten about my previous post about the Indian guy. Me smart.

That Indian guy just told me he would custom build me a hub at no additional cost and he guaranteed he would fit me a 21 x 3 on my Bob. A direct bolt-on he said. He also said he would 100% refund my money if it didn't work. Too good to be true, I hope not.

Just checked my email and hdwheels.com sent me the price on the wheel I want. Depending on a few minor options the prices range from $1,480 to $1,660. For one wheel.

Step 1. Place ideaon back burner. Step 2. Turn off burner. Step 3. Close kitchen

I own a 2006 Dyna Street Bob.

This page http://www.hdwheels.com/Product.htm says the Street Bob front wheel is 19 x 2.15.
The stamp on the side of the street bob wheel says it’s 19 x 250.

So I am curious now. I am looking for a 21 x 3 wheel for my street bob with 120/70 21 Metz on it.

Since your sizing chart appears to be wrong, does that mean I can fit a 12 x 3 wheel on my bike?

I am willing to remove the fender if I need to.

Also I have the 11” rear shock which lowers the back of the bike 1”. If I put a 21” front hoop on my bike will I need to buy shorter forks to keep the trail correct?

Actually the tire is1.5 inch taller but your bike will only sit up .75 taller on the front. thats half the distance or differance of the radius of the tire from center line or axle.

BLKCHRYBOB06, I talked with the hdwheels.com guy a few times. He seems like he knows what he's doing which I explained in an earlier post. I tried American Wire Wheels yesterday, maybe you can give them a call. They were about $150less. Still AWW was about$1,300 and Andrei at hdwheels said about $1,500. That's just too much money for a damn wheel. Even if I made twice as much salary as I do now, I still think that price is outrageous. The reason for this post is me thinking that since we both want 21 x 3's for an 06 Bob, maybe we can get one of the builders to drop the price by ordering multiple wheels, maybe we can get some other people in on the deal. I still don't think I could go more than $1,100 tops.

Even though two different people there told me two different things on available rim width for an 06 Bob, they were much cheaper and seem to have a quality product.
