Default rattle front end

I just started noticing a rattle in the front part of the bike on my 12 fatbob. Everything seems tight. It kinda clunks over bumps or over man hole cover. Any ideas?

I have so much rattling on the front end that it's just part of the ride. I've changed so much **** up front that it could be a million things.

Fairing bolts, turn signals, headlight, wiring in neck, wiring in console, grips, mirrors, controls, handlebars....who knows.

Just give it the finger or take it to the shop, no one on the forum is going to be able to tell you what it is.

Exactly the same issue, seemed like it was coming from the front shocks. Spent 2 weeks looking for it. Even changed my fork springs (was going to do that anyway, just made it happen sooner). Still clunking over small bumps and manhole covers. I grabbed everything and nothing was moving, not even the gas tank.
One day I was right pi$$ed off and while sitting on the bike, I leaned over the tank and grabbed it under the front sides and pulled straight up. It moved and would only move straight up and down. The front bolt was tight, but needed to be tightened just a little more. No more movement and no more clunk!

Nice part of this issue, I completed the lowering of the entire bike and everything is now tight and secure.

wow that doesn't sound good. Doesn't sound like you are as happy with your bike as you use to be.

Haha rooti, I was just being dramatic. I'm actually happier than ever with my bike, finally got it all dialed in the way I'd like. There isn't a no non-stop rattle, just when I hit bumps in the road or or the tiny manhole covers.

I was just exaggerating the point that it probably isn't anything too serious and little rattle shouldn't stop us from getting out there and having fun!
