hello, my choke slider [i dont know the right name for it] does not hold adjustment i tried 3 dif. times to adjust like it says in my service man. everytime it goes back it by itself it wont stay out when you pull it out, my old man says its worn, i never heard of these wearing out? if it is worn out were can i find the the assembly? im guessing thats what its called? thanks for your help.

 

Mine was doing that and played with the knurled plastic **** right behind the choke ****. I loosened it a little and that worked.

 

i replaced mine as it would not stay out, i tried the knurled **** and tried tightining it and no go, get it at the HD dealer and was only 15.00 bucks. solved
