Pinstriping
Anyone following my past threads knows that I recently rattle canned my bike a matte black color. I'll be the first to admit that a rattle canned paint job with no clear is probably not going to be the most durable finish long term which I knew going into it. With that being said, I didn't want to spend a bunch getting my bike pin striped but still wanted some because I think red and white striping really complements flat black paint.
I found a guy on ebay that sells pin stripe decals by the name of Twisted Chrome and decided to give them a shot. So here are the pics.

Good job.
I think it's great when guys do what they can with what they have.
Someone told me when I had mine done the resale price would go down.
I told them I bought the bike for me not the next guy.

Looks pretty good...
Why not hit the bike with a matte clear coat to protect the paint?
I'm gonna have a Mexican sugar skull pinstriped on my derby cover soon, probably in red/white or red/silver.

Everything I've read has said that rattle can clear can not hold up to gas so I decided it wasn't worth it. This is only temporary anyways until I get the bike back to the States next year. Once I'm back it's going to get painted professionally and pin striped by an actual pin striper.
