im looking for stock length performance springs for my front end, i dont want it lowered at all, just something a little stiffer/performance oriented. whats the best?
You have a couple other inexpensive options as well, you can add a little length to the spacer in the fork tubes that adds preload to the springs...Or, you can try a slightly heavier fork oil.
Make sure you thoroughly clean out the sliders and tubes when you have them apart.
i did a clean out and heavier oil, helped a little. but not much. my old bike didnt have these weird pipe like things inside the tubes. what are they? they look like a piece of exhaust pipe inside the legs.

Those are the preload spacers, you can vary the length to increase or decrease preload on the springs, but I would not change more than 1/4" at a time. Don't over do it though, about 1/2" is really the most you should add if that much.
What exactly are you trying to correct? Heavy fork oil might help with brake dive but will slow down your dampening...not the best thing for handling. You already have a progressive spring in your stock harley forks.
I put the ricor intimidators in a noticed a big difference but I still think I can get it better.
Stiffer and performance oriented are kinda going in opposite directions from each other.
ok. i dont want the front to dive when i brake, and i dont want to bottom out or feel like im bottoming out over bumps and potholes. i can almost bottom out the front end just by pushing down on the handlebars. i hate it.
