Well, been puting new grips and chrome switch housings on and the 11" progressives are on the way, now Im starting to set my sights on my exhaust. How many of you guys have the Vance Hines staggered slip-ons?
I plan on doing the same and from what I've read here if you just do the slipons no PC3 necessary until high flow air cleaner is installed. Have a friend at work that has a "06 Lowrider with the slipons and the quiet baffles and sounds great to me, thats why I am going that direction for now $$$.
Don't know what yer looking for out of yer bike. Do you want looks ? Performance, do you like 2 into 1 pipes ? What kind of money do you want to spend. I was looking at performance. I got a Se high flow air box went with the fat cat pipes. http://www.danddexhaust.com/catalog/2006/01/49632b.htm
I would look at this when I did something to my computer. http://www.thundermaxefi.com/Product...ionModule.aspx
This tuner will save you money and problems in the long run. If you get the auto addition it will do more for you on yer bike and release more power and make yer bike run smooter. They offer a 30 day free warranty. Got friends with them on and they swear by this unit. Its made by Zippers. Zippers is a well know company.
But bottom line you have to deceide what you want out of yer bike and what yer riding style you going to be doing. And then again you might enjoy the quiet and want to leave yer bike like it is.
Just looked and that looks like about 800 big ones. There is a fuelpak from V&H that runs about $280 list. Not slammin you but my budget is kinda limited. Have other things to get.
