Wow Sean, I have never heard anyone say Badlander and comfort in the same sentence. You must have yourself one of the IndIana iron asses!
1 vote here for the Sundowner sitting you back at least 1 1/2" - 2" and just as higher. ( I'm 5' 10")Prior to putting it on, with my feet stretched out on the hwypegs the back ofmy heel would sit against the pegs, now when the Sundowner is on, the bottom of my boot just sits on the pegs. Ithas a whole different feel to it. I hate the looks of it but for long trips you can't beat the comfort of it. You definately don't get that Lowrider feel to your bike with it on. And with the wife, and the stocker, her head is pretty much right behind mine. With the Sundowner, her head isup over my helmet, allowing her to enjoy some of those tasty bugs! Tim

The badlander..looks fantastic on a wide glide...and as HDWG said...more comfy than it looks..but still...there's just not enough back support...at least not for my (bad) back
The SE dyna - see badlander
Todd
They are not the same have riden with both......
Badlander- is not foamed the same, does not feel the same, and numbed my a$$, passenger part of seat uncomfortable and skinny.
SE Dyna- wider, better feeling foam and shape, no numb butt, passenger area of seat wider and more comfortable than the Badlander.

Fair enough...still...I found that the SE seat didn't provide as much back support as the seats I ultimately purchased (sidekick/pillow-look). And for those of us blessed with less than perfect backs, the support was a must. The SE is a really nice seat though.
