Default Progress...

Well, I've been working on the bike for a while, changing things here and there, and I'm finally getting to a point where I think she looks rather good. I'm very happy as she sits but definitely have more things planned. I just received my pair of BR Custom bars that will go on in the winter so I can't wait for that. Anyway, here she is....

Looks great.

Why are you getting new bars? Those bars look sweet. Uncomfortable? I'm having a hard time figuring out what apes to get on my 12 FatBob.

They are actually very comfortable bars (they are RSD Vintage apes), I just did about 1000 miles in two days with those bars and had no comfort issues. I'm going with 1 1/4" diameter bars and also a bit higher, mainly a looks thing.

Are they 14"? Did you have to buy a cable kit or did the stock length work?

Thanks

I believe on paper, the Vintage Apes are 12" but they measure about an inch more than that, about 13". All the stock wiring and cables worked with these bars.
