Default shifting points?
Im just curious. At what speed or how many mlkes per hr do u guys shift at. We have our luggers and we got our screamers. MPH not RPM since alot of guys dont have tachs

When you shift up into the next gear and twist the throttle it should run free with no hesitation, if it doesnt your lugging it. Do you really have to ask? I pay more attention to the speed limit than the shift points, tickets are freak'n expensive

I just listen to the engine noise, dont have every gear narrowed down to a mph, but I know that I usually shift into 4th when I get above 50.

7000rpm in every gear should see you right. At least your not lugging the engine.

4000 RPM's usualy on my FXDXT-3000-3500 on my Electra (Unless I am racing) Why the difference between the two? Just feels right.....
