started my FL/Dyna conversion

so i comprimised on the front wheel, went with an 18" 80 spoke with 130/70 tire, will be here next week

quick update as I await the wheel to get here, changed out risers from my 1.5" straight risers to my 4.5 pull backs (the fairing was not fitting with the straight risers, even the short ones) fairing now fits like a glove (for those curious its one of those softail fairings from ebay, stereo and 6x9 speaker openings) I am in the process of wiring up the fairing so I can power the stereo and amp. spent 3 hours splicing the hand control wires to extend the harness to suit my needs, wired up all lights and switches, coming along nicely, have some finish work on the fairing to complete

work thus far, got it back on the road, gonna finish up the summer riding and when i pull it back in the garage for the winter I will do the final detail work to it

nice work! to run an amp in my fairing i welded up a bracket to support the head unit and amp... this way the actual mounts support the frame structure of the rack holding the weight of the amp and head unit

i have something similar already drawn up, the head unit i am using doesnt have CD its just reciever and usb/sd card reader, weighs next to nothing, but I am going to brace up a small amp in there
