Swingarm sideplay
Hello everybody!! I`m new to this forum just joined today, having though been reading this forum quite often.
But to the point, when I last time changed my rear tire and was putting the wheel on, so I noticed i slight sideplay on swingarm I`d say about 3-4 mm`s I guess that would roughly equal little less than 1/6 inch. So I thougt that the bearing or the pushing/ spacers are probably gone bad.... I havent gotten in to problem yet but I was wondering would I be okey with OEM parts or is there available better/firmer aftermarket solutions for Dyna swingarm??

Welcome to the forum.
4mm=1/64th of 1 inch. I could not find a specification for side/side 'play' at the rear-fork in the SM for my '03.
Mileage on the '08?

Wrong. 4mm=approximately 5/32". 1/64 is only about 1/3 of 1 mm.
3-4mm of slop is unbelievable! That bike is way past due for some maintenance.

4mm is way too much 'play'!
Thanks!
