Having never ridden foot boards, I don't know what to expect.
The Softail Slim has them, will they be in the same place on a Dyna?
When using footboards, there is so much surface area for your boots to grap, that you will never worring about you feet blowing off at speed again. The comfort cannot be beat.

I am using Softail boards myself, I need to move the brake master cylinder up front because of my exhaust crossunder.
