Default 2012 fxdwg A/C kit?

Hey everyone. I just hit 1000 miles on my new baby. Its time to get an exhaust, A/C kit, and tuner. After a crap ton of reading and talking with my Dad and his buddies, i think i know where i want to go for most of it. I really like the look of the V&H Big Shots Staggered. They have a deep throaty sound and will give me a decent return in the performance department. As for a tuner, i plan on getting a PCV from fuel motto. Combined with an auto tuner (down the road), i think it will roar. As for the A/C, i dont know. I was thinking screamin eagle stage 1 at first but decided i did not want the stock look. I like the V&H Duke but wonder if its worth paying for the cover. I'm sure a K&N kit would work just as well for less money. I'd like some input from anyone thats willing to give it. Do most of them perform the same and just have different aesthetics? Or is one actually better than the other? Thanks in advance for everyones inputs.

You can get everything from Fuel Moto. They sell a Screamin Eagle style intake as well as the Ness Big Sucker. The vast majority of covers work on those, so you won't necessarily have to look stock. FM also sells Vance & Hines exhaust. You know from your research that Fuel Moto does a great job of giving you a good tune right out of the box, so keep it simple (and save on shipping) and let them supply the whole package.
Note: I have no affiliation with FM, I'm just a satisfied customer.

They only sell the Arlen Ness BS that uses my OEM cover. There is a kit from Arlen Ness that allows the exposed look that Fuel Moto does. It have in stock (What they said when I called) I ended up getting the PCV and V&H BSS chrome from fuel motor and the Arlen Ness AC kit from amazon. Free shipping from both. Installing it all this weekend.
