Weight help please
I need help with the weight of wheels.... can somebody guesstamate the weight of a 19" 40 spoke wheel with tire and a 16" 40 spoke wheel with tire. HD don't give the weight of the wheels and I have a buyer for my wheels and I don't have scales to weight them. Any help would be apprecaited!

Hey Donnie..I sold my old 17 inch 40 spoke rear wheel/tire a month or two ago...I don't remember exactly how much it weighed...but I believe it was somewhere between 25 and 30 pounds including packaging. Does that sound right? Not sure about the front wheel as mine has never been off my bike.
Tell you the easiest way to do it...get on a scale and take your weight...then pick up the wheel and stand on the scale again. Take the difference, and there you go. Add a couple pounds to include the packaging materials.
