Default Big Bore issue

I have a big bore kit that came with my super glide when I bought it, trouble is the big bore jugs are black highlight and the stock engine is silver. So if I use the black jugs I will have silver crank case, black jugs and silver heads. I think I might look kinda cool but I'm not sure, might look like a$$... anyone have an opinion or options to fix this issue (Painting head or blasting cylinder)? If someone has done an engine like this please post pics. Thanks.

Here is my bike with black barrels and silver heads and cases, i find it gives the engine an old school look , like the days of the shovelhead

Put on the black jugs, as long as you like the look. I powder coated all of the plain kinda shiny aluminum covers on my black EG standard. So i have silver crank case and jugs, but gloss black rocker boxes, trans covers, primary cover, cam cover, and lifter covers. The derby cover is chrome and all the black parts have chrome bolts. Maybe it just works becuase the bike is black. I guess im just saying to toss in a little more black and it will work. Think of the new blackline. That motor is two colors.

I like the black jug look on a silver engine.

Nice work there...looks great! I got a neighbor who had his jugs powder coated green to match his bike but kept the edges bare like the ones you have there in blue...not sure where he got it done but it looks pretty cool.
