I am looking to put some carlini 16" hangers on my 2013 street bob, my bike is more chrom than murdered out, so what would look better, black bars or chrome?
Go chrome, their is too much black going on around here, myself included haha, I wish I woulda done a little more chrome. Especially with that paint job, go 16 inch chrome Z bars like these http://www.phantomkustom.com/images/...bar/250754.jpg
my carlinis are chrome. left the controls and handgrips black. keep in mind with carlini my 13 inch apes with there diamond risers are 18 inches from triple tree.
I got a '07 SB and thankfully mine is a nice mix, more to the black side, so it was easy to just carry on with the black. I put the Carlini Pist Apes on mine, 17" with the HD stock 1" riser.
Here is a pic, give ya something to go by. Lemme tell ya though, I was between the RSD and these, I am happy I went with them. Took MUCH deliberation tho! In person they look SICK! I love them, but like others, I am bias! lol
I appolgise for the darkness of the photo, I am not finished the project and I am out of town away from my iron horse to get ya a better pic! But I will be posting pics of my ride with the additions I have completed when I get home. I got lots of powder coating to do this winter
